Dear Colleagues,
I hope you are as well as can be during the unprecedented world-wide COVID-19 pandemic and the many challenges it presents.
In consultation with the Convenors for the next two scheduled meetings of the Husserl Circle, Daniele De Santis and Michele Averchi, the decision has been made to cancel this year’s meeting in Prague.
It is our hope that the global response to the pandemic will permit the 2022 meeting of the Husserl Circle to be held at The Catholic University of America in June of that year, and the 2023 meeting the following year at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
Because of the interruption of the Husserl Circle’s annual meetings caused by the pandemic, the annual call for dues will be suspended this year. Members who are not current with their dues through 2020, however, will be notified.
The annual call for dues will be reinstated once it becomes possible again for the Husserl Circle to hold its annual meeting.
Best regards,
Burt Hopkins, Ph.D.
Permanent Secretary
