Next Husserl Circle Meeting, Program (pdf) Next Husserl Circle Meeting, Dear Members and Friends of the Husserl Circle, first of all, we wish you a happy new year. As Paris is very full in the summer, we are pleased that we have been able to make 59 hotel room reservations for participants in this year's meeting. Most, but not all, of the rooms are also suitable for couples; further details are below. If you wish to benefit from these reservations, please contact the hotel on April 30 at the latest. We remind you that, should you wish to participate in the meeting by delivering a paper, the deadline for submissions is March 15, 2009. Papers should have a reading time of no more than 30 minutes, and will be followed by 15 minutes of comments by an invited respondent and 15 minutes of plenary discussion. The Scientific Committee will anounce its decisions by April 10, 2009. The members of the committee are: Rudolf Bernet (Leuven), James Mensch (Saint Francis Xavier), Gianfranco Soldati (Fribourg), Wioletta Miskiewicz (IHPST), and Mark van Atten (IHPST). Hôtel d'Angleterre Etoile Letter from the Secretary (Feb 2009) Participation in the Husserl Circle’s Annual Program : Members of the Husserl Circle in good standing predominately but not exclusively make up the Circle’s annual program. Each year a limited number of papers submitted by non-members are accepted. The Circle also encourages its senior members to serve on the program as commentators in order to open presentation slots for junior colleagues and newcomers.

annual meeting of the Husserl Circle held in Milwaukee, at Marquette
University this past June was an immense success. Special thanks are
in order to Convenors Sebastian Luft and Pol Vandevelde, who did a
superb job of assembling a first-rate program and attending to the
every need of the many members and friends of the Circle in

Anders (University of Las Vegas) The next meeting of the Husserl Circle will take place at the Institut d'Histoire et de Philosophie des Sciences et des Techniques (IHPST) in Paris, France, from Monday, June 22, through Thursday, June 25, 2009, with Mark van Atten and Wioletta Miskiewicz convening the meeting.
